Police on Friday arrested a school student for stealing a two-wheeler in Velachery.
According to police, Majid Ahmed, 60, of MGR Nagar, in Velachery, had parked his two-wheeler outside his residence on Thursday night.
The next day, he was shocked to find the moped missing. He lodged a complaint with the police.
During a police patrol on Friday, Saran (name changed), studying in a government school in Velachery, was spotted riding the bike. When questioned, he confessed to having stolen it.
