Gold at all-time high of Rs 31,575 per 10 gram

Soaring further out of the common man’s reach, gold prices touched an all-time high of `31,575 per 10 gram on Saturday.

This is a new milestone at the bullion bourses driven by frantic buying triggered by a powerful global rally.

Delhi led the rally, with gold prices rising by Rs 550 to Rs 31,725 per 10 gram, followed by Chennai and Kolkata which showed a Rs 540 increase to Rs 31,575 and Mumbai by Rs 520 to Rs 31,400.
