Uff, the pitfalls of being Ms Popular! Everyone wants a piece of Katrina Kaif, but she just can’t spare the time. Just a day after reports emerged that the Ladakh schedule of her YRF film with Shah Rukh Khan was holding back her stunt rehearsals for Dhoom 3 with Aamir Khan in Chicago, we hear that Akshay Kumar — who had a string of hits with the actress — is waiting to revive the pairing for another project. Apparently, Akki even has a script ready, but Kat’s packed schedule means she won’t be free for a year.

“Akshay is extremely happy about Katrina’s successful stint in the industry. Their pairing had worked really well in their previous films and now that they’re at the pinnacle of their careers — Akshay with Rowdy Rathore and Housefull 2 and Katrina with Ek Tha Tiger — Akshay feels the time is right to revive their charmed partnership,” a trade veteran told us.
The basics of the script are already in place. “The company will make an announcement as soon as everything falls into place,” a source close to Akshay shared, adding, “We are trying to work the schedule around Kat’s availability.”
So will the Khiladi and his Kat manage to cause another 100-crore tsunami at the box office?
