[1]Ranveer Singh made no bones about the fact that it was his ultimate dream to work with Kareena Kapoor when Sanjay Leela Bhansali had caste the duo in Ram Leela. He even proudly confessed his crush on the Kapoor girl from his teenage days.
But Singh’s happiness was short-lived as soon after the announcement, Kareena opted out of the film. The actor, however, is not letting it affect his commitment to the film as he has already started taking part in the workshops. “He had been hearing stories about Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone being considered for Ram Leela but Ranveer kept himself busy by attending the workshops. His sole focus is to get his act right,” says our source.
Ranveer is confident that his on-screen chemistry with his recently confirmed Leela alias Deepika will dazzle on the screen. Unfazed by the changing faces of Leela, Ranveer is aiming to give his best.
