Politicking over the brutal murder of 10-year-old Shalin Gupta by his kidnappers last week touched a new low, with the PDP and NC indulging in direct blame game and accusing each other of shedding crocodile tears over the spine-chilling incident.
If in the morning the Leader of the Opposition and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti obliquely targeted NC MLC Trilochan Wazir for what she claimed patronising criminals in this case, in the evening in another press conference the man in eye of storm (Mr Wazir) dared her to prove the allegations levelled against him.
Quoting some media reports, PDP president stated that a NC leader had got the main accused of Shalin murder case released just after kidnapping of the 10-year-old child who was later killed by the kidnappers.
