Kajal says no to Chi Chi flick

Govinda, desperate to make a comeback in Bollywood, seems to have finalised a film called Dhurandar with director Rajnish Raj Thakur. And if that name doesn’t sound familiar at all, it’s probably because Rajnish has so far helmed some rather forgettable flicks like Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baaki Hai and Loot.

But the film had a very recognisable name associated with it, that of Kajal Aggarwal, whose last B’wood outing was Singham. The only hitch: Kajal herself was unaware that she was being presented as the leading lady.
Relatively new though she may be to the industry, Kajal has already tasted plenty of success and Dhurandar wouldn’t exactly fit in with her profile, her aide implied, saying, “She started off with Ajay Devgn in Singham and is now working in Special Chabbis with Akshay Kumar. Down South, she recently delivered a blockbuster with Mahesh Babu, in Businessman. Now she is looking forward to the release of Maatraan where she is paired opposite Suriya. How do you expect her to fit in a Govinda starrer in the interim?”
