The Madras high court has directed the Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV corporation to conduct a meeting of its board of directors and decide the subscription price for Sun TV on or before July 31.
Justice V Ramasubramanian disposed of the petition filed by Neelakandan Ramachandran, a share holder, that sought to direct TN Arasu Cable TV corporation to issue a subscription order according to the terms finalised and price fixed for Sun TV network pay channels by the price negotiation committee of the corporation in the meeting held on April 3, 2012.
Petitioner contended that the company was invited for negotiation with the price negotiation committee on April 3 but no decision was taken and that the petitioner’s channels were not being transmitted through TN Arasu Cable TV corporation.
