The Inter-Services Intelligence of Pakistan has now decided to pay Rs 1,000 per month to each of the family members of militants, who are killed by the Indian security forces. Identical amounts would also be given to the family members of those who are fighting “jihad”.
The ISI has also decided to provide free education to the wards of the killed militants, as well as “muhajirs” (people who migrated from India to Pakistan and currently indulging in anti-India activities). Free education will also be provided to the children of “mujahids” (those who are fighting jihad).
According to intelligence sources, a decision in this regard was taken in a meeting held in April at Kotli in Pak-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) under the chairmanship of Hijbul-Mujahideen chief, Syed Salahuddin. The meeting held at ISI office in Kotli (MX 9042, 43 G/14), was attended by several ISI officials, including some brigadiers also. Those who attended the meeting included Abdullah Khan of HM, Abu Hamza of Lashkar-e-Tayyaba, Haji Saifulla of Jaish-e-Mohammed, Bakhat Zaman of Al-Badar and the “launching cadre” (newly recruited militants) of several outfits, sources said. In his concluding remark, Salahuddin directed all militant outfits to increase infiltration bids in India at the earliest, sources added.
Inputs confirm that Salahuddin first gave the reference of ISI’s earlier meeting, held in in Kotli, in which a decision was taken to provide financial support to the family members.
