Egyptian ex-president Hosni Mubarak, sentenced on Saturday to life in prison for involvement in the killing of protesters during the 2011 uprising, will appeal the sentence, a defence lawyer said.
"We will appeal. The ruling is full of legal flaws from every angle," said Yasser Bahr, a senior member of Mubarak's defence team.
Asked if Mubarak was likely to win the appeal, Bahr said: "We will win, one million per cent."
