‘Paintings are not for sale’

Salman Khan’s penchant for painting is well known in the industry. The superstar, who often receives several requests to paint portraits, was recently asked to paint his favourite actress in the industry. But before he could be put in a spot, it was brother Sohail Khan who came to his rescue. He said, “Bhai is not into portraits. He is a very spiritual person at heart; he’ll paint a Jesus, or a Shiva or even a Mother Teresa, but not portraits in general.” That’s the reason why, according to Sohail, Salman is not interested in painting a portrait of any of his heroines.
On being quizzed about the probability of an exhibition of Salman’s paintings, Sohail said, “His paintings are not for sale. It’s his imagination and brilliant brush strokes at play on the canvas and he doesn’t want to put a price tag on it. At the most, he might consider doing it for charity, but never for profitable purposes.”
Looks like big brother has trained him quite well. Or is this Sohail’s way of ensuring Sallu okays his Sher Khan project?
