Remember John’s yellow trunks that drooped to dangerous levels in Dostana? If rumours are anything to go by then the actor is very likely to do a repeat telecast in Race 2 in his introductory shot. But since this film is a hardcore action thriller, the treatment will be different, (read less X-rated). But fans will nonetheless have a chance to ogle his flawless physique that he has pumped up even more for the “racy” action scenes.
A unit member says, “John has shot for some rather unbelievable action sequences that will put his past feats to shame — and that’s saying a lot.” The much-talked-about opening sequence of Abbas-Mustan’s film features about eight stars, but with Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt being on the other side of 40, it’s up to John to up the sex appeal. “His sex-symbol image is being milked to the maximum for Race 2. With actresses like Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Bipasha Basu adding on to the heat as well, amongst the men folk it would be John fuelling the fire,” adds the source. The actor did admit to have already shot for the scene but wouldn’t say anything more than that. “It was amazing but it’s too early to talk about it,” he said.
