It’s barely been a week since she debuted in Bollywood, but Esha Gupta is already hot property. Her film Jannat 2 has officially been declared a hit, and producers and directors are actively wooing Esha. But, Esha says, she’s got her hands full for now.
First up comes Raaz 3, another film with the Bhatts and another film with Emraan Hashmi. “Emraan is my lucky charm and fortunately, my second film Raaz 3 is also with him,” she says.
And it’s not just the Bhatts who’re placing their trust in Esha. Even Prakash Jha — he of the serious, hard-hitting cinema — has signed her on for his next, Chakravyuh. “I am playing an IPS officer and will be seen in a de-glam avatar in the film. It is a different role and the audience will get to see me in a uniform,” she reveals. “In fact, I still don’t know the whole script, but with Prakash Jha’s name attached to it, I just jumped on this golden opportunity.”
