[1]Film director Teja had approached gangster Bhanu Kiran in 2009 for settling a loan dispute that he had with Chadalavda Srinivas for an amount of Rs 1.05 crore. In his confession statement, Bhanu told the CID, “It was settled by Srikanth Goud and Mangali Krishna but police arrested their men.”
Police may also grill Dr Vara Prasad of Zykia restaurant in Banjara Hills regarding the activities of Bhanu. Ch Gopi Narasimha Reddy of Pegs and Mugs restaurant in Kukatpally will also be questioned. Bhanu said, “I knew celebrity Sridevi. When a stranger misbehaved with Sridevi I intervened and scolded the stranger. Since then she developed a friendship and I used to call her as sister. I along with Mangali Krishna used to visit her Paris salon at Banjara Hills. Bhanu also named Anjaneyulu Gupta, a businessman, Muthyala Reddy, owner of Krishna theatre, Sekhar of Ocean Park, Y. Pratap Reddy, a realtor, and Sudhamshu Goud he interacted with while setting disputes.
