Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Tuesday offered to mediate between the government and the Maoists to bring lasting solution to the Naxal problem.
“I am ready to talk to the Naxals to resolve their problems and bring lasting peace in Maoist-infested areas in the country. I can also persuade them to join the mainstream,” he added.
The anti-black money crusader, who arrived here en route to Dallirajhara to launch the third-phase of his anti-corruption campaign, however, criticised Maoists for resorting to violence, including killing of innocent people in different parts of country. “I have all sympathy for tribal folk believing in non-violent movement for safeguarding their interests, but not for those who are indulging in bloodbath,” he told reporters here in the morning.
