He may have played a super suave spy in his previous filmi outing, but it seems Agent Vinod will have to work on his physique a lot more if he wants to match up to his Race 2 persona. Sunane mein aaya hai ki Saif Ali Khan has been asked to beef up for his role in the upcoming Abbas-Mustan thriller. Accordingly, he is religiously doing his bench presses and weight lifting.
Now Saif’s toned body is nothing to laugh at, but health issues have forced the actor to forego intensive workouts and focus on strengthening exercises and stretches instead. But with the Race 2 diktat looming over his head, the actor’s fitness trainer is putting him through his paces. “He will look a lot leaner in Race 2,” Saif’s trainer Kunal confirmed to us. “We’re following a strict diet and workout, and the results show!”
With the lukewarm response to Agent Vinod, Saif’s got a lot riding on Race 2, so we can completely understand his willingness to go the extra mile. And as long as we have a hunky (dory) Saif to look forward to at the end of it all, you won’t find us complaining!
