CPI(M) politburo member Sitaram Yechury on Friday presented the draft resolution on some ideological matters, which deals with a range of issues including the crisis in capitalist countries, reforms in socialist countries, caste-based mobilization within the country, and gender issues.
The resolution examines the process of reforms initiated by the socialist countries including Cuba and China. “While the Chinese record of a consistent 10 per cent plus growth rate over the past three decades is unprecedented, this process has brought to the fore adverse changes in production relations and social relations,’’ it said.
