France shooting siege comes to an end

The siege in southern France of a self-proclaimed Al-Qaeda militant blamed for a series of deadly shootings is coming to an end, a police source said on Thursday.

French shooting suspect dead, confirmed a police source. Three police wounded, one seriously, in the siege assault.

The source said the siege was 'rapidly' moving to its conclusion.
