Tainted former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa is likely to be reinstated into power.
News channels reported that the announcement will be made within 24 hours.
Earlier Yeddyurappa had set a 48-hour deadline for the BJP High Command to make a decision on his reinstatement, while his followers made announcements that they will go to any extent to prevent Sadananda Gowda from presenting the budget.
Later, a truce was reached stating that Yeddy and loyalists will not disturb the passage of the state budget.
After a clean chit from the Karnataka High Court in the illegal mining case, Yeddyurappa has started exerting pressure on party to reinstate him as the chief minister.
