The Kurnool police on Sunday picked up one person on suspicion of being Bhanu Kiran, the killer of Gangula Suryanarayana Reddy alias Maddelacheruvu Suri. He was picked up from Nanded Express under Madhavaram police station limits near Mantralayam. However, on being contacted, Kurnool SP M. Shiva Prasad said initial interrogation revealed he’s not Bhanu Kiran. “We are going to question him. The suspect will be grilled further,” the SP added. Bhanu Kiran has been escaping from cops ever since he murdered Suri.
