The idea is being trialled in Australia after the US and customers are being warned they may get caught in a cash machine queue for some extra time.
If people watch a quick commercial first, the transactions could be made for free, the Daily Mail reported.
American company Free ATMs NYC rolled out the concept last year and millions of users have got 'fee-free' withdrawals by watching commercials for up to 30 seconds.
In Australia, consumers have to pay fees starting from over $1 for withdrawing cash from an ATM if they use a machine that is not linked with their bank.
