An earthquake, measuring 5.6 on Richter scale struck North Western Kashmir this morning. No casualties or damage to property have been reported yet.
The epicentre of the quake is said to be Gilgit, about 150 kilometres from Srinagar. Panicked natives ran out of their homes when they felt the tremors.
