A very unique publicity stunt for an upcoming Hollywood flick has taken the Web by storm.

Viral marketing agency Thinkmodo sent people 'flying into the air' as part of a promotion for 'Chronicle' - a sci-fi flick about teenagers with special powers.

According to reports, the agency used human-shaped remote-controlled toy planes for the stunt over American cities of New York and New Jersey.

Many described the stunt as 'eerie and freaky' and sent hundreds online to track what exactly was going on.
