DB Realty MD and director of Swan Telecom Vinod Goenka on Tuesday approached the Delhi high court seeking quashing of the charges framed against him by the trial court in the 2G spectrum allocation case.
Justice M.L. Mehta issued a notice to the CBI, seeking the investigative agency’s response to Mr Goenka’s plea by March 13, the next date of hearing.
Mr Goenka, who was arrested on April 20 last year for his alleged involvement in the case and granted bail by the Supreme Court on November 23, is the eleventh accused in the case to have moved the high court for quashing of the charges framed against them by the special CBI court.
