Janet Jackson can “breathe a little better” now Conrad Murray’s trial is over. The 45-year-old singer admitted the trial of her late brother Michael Jackson’s former doctor, who was found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of the Thriller hitmaker, was a stressful time that affected her weight, but she is now thinking positively about her future.

Janet, who has struggled with her fluctuating weight for years, told Us Weekly, “It’s been a difficult couple of years. And then I’ve been very, very busy on top of that. I have little ways to go to get healthy and to feel the best that I know I can feel. I know I’m on my way to success.”
Janet admits she is an emotional eater and often resorts to consuming food when she feels “really stressed” in her life because she sees it as her “comfort place”.
