With all the hype surrounding Sunny Leone being cast in Jism 2 by Mahesh Bhatt, there’s one other beauty who’s feeling slightly left out in the cold. The Bhatts are launching Esha Gupta opposite Emraan Hashmi in Jannat 2, and Esha was quite happy about the same until she realised that Sunny in the Jism 2 project was stealing all her thunder.
“The Bhatts have always been able to drum up sufficient hype around their projects, but the Sunny incident has generated unprecedented publicity,” says a trade analyst. “But in all this, Jannat 2 has been pushed out of everyone’s consciousness.”
In fact, even as Mahesh wooed Sunny, poor ignored Esha had already shot for much of Jannat 2. “When Esha came on board, it was a much quieter announcement. Compare it with the kind of publicity that Sunny has managed for herself and even a debut in Jannat 2 seems a tepid development at best,” says a source from the publicity department of a production house. Oh Esha, we do sympathise. But if we were you, we’d try to get an entry into the Bigg Boss house too.
