New Delhi, March 23: The US government has not yet decided whether it will provide Indian investigators direct access to David Coleman Headley, a conspirator in the 26/11 terror strike on Mumbai.
US ambassador to India Timothy Roemer on Tuesday said here that “no decision on direct access for India to David Headley has been made”. His statement comes four days after US assistant secretary of state for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert Blake spoke in the affirmative about Indian access to Headley. Mr Roemer’s clarification came the day after home ministry sources said India is likely to send investigators in April to question Headley in the US.
