It’s Bebo, not Kat for Sallu

Katrina Kaif may have long been the queen of Salman Khan’s heart, but when it comes to the position of his leading lady, the Dabangg Khan may be looking in another direction. Consider the fact that just last week, when the Khan brothers and a few distributors met up to discuss who to cast opposite Sallu in a new project, it was Bebo’s name that was finalised. Until now, Kat has always been Sallu’s first choice for projects.
The suggestion came from none other than the Khan patriarch, Salim Khan. It seems that the legendary scriptwriter-filmmaker was so upset with Sallu and Kat’s on again-off again relationship status, that he decided enough was enough. Says a source close to the Khan family, “He thought that this might get Salman out of the mess he’s in.”
Salim Khan on the other hand, said the decision was down to pure business sense: “Today, Kareena is the only actress who can actually make a difference to a project. She is the undisputed queen of the box office.”
