Sprint Star claims main event in Bengaluru

Satish Narredu-trained Sprint Star was brilliantly ridden by Suraj Narredu to claim the Rajyotsava Trophy, the feature event of the inaugural day’s races of the winter meeting held here on Monday, in a sensational finish.

After pursuing the pace setting Aprillia into the main stretch, Suraj timed his move perfectly to get the better of Hatsuhana, almost on the final stride, by a narrow margin after a short tussle.
