July 31: S. Padmanabhan-trained In The Spotlight was brilliantly ridden by K.P.G. Appu to claim the Nanoli Stud Bangalore Summer Million, the highlight of the week-end races held here on Sunday, from the course favourite St Catz in a thrilling finish.
The trainer was indeed ‘in the spotlight’ after a long time as he completed a rich double through Steel King in the last race.
