"We will customise our feed especially for the Indian sports fans and show them the very best," ESPN Software India Pvt Ltd Vice President, Affiliate Sales T.S. Panesar told.
The London Olympics begin on July 27 and end on August 12
The company plans to showcase live broadcast of Olympics on three networks in India - ESPN, Star Sports and ESPN HD.
"ESPN will be more India specific and showcase sports featuring Indian athletes, and those sports which are more popular in India such as Hockey, Shooting, Boxing, Wrestling, Tennis and football," Panesar said.
On the other hand, Star Sports would focus on sports like Gymnastics, Equestrian and Volleyball, while ESPN HD will be a blend of above two channels, he added.
ESPN Star Sports has the rights to broadcast 240 hours of programming every day for the duration of 15 days which makes it almost 3600 hours of programming.
"In addition to the live television broadcast of the Games, including the opening and closing ceremonies, our daily coverage will include dedicated programmes to bring the best highlights and coverage from the London 2012 Games," Panesar said.
