Zsa Zsa has her leg amputated

Ailing actress Zsa Zsa Gabor had most of her right leg amputated on Friday due to an infection which would have killed her without surgery, her husband said.
Doctors said the 93-year-old remains in frail health and is being monitored closely after the operation in Los Angeles, the latest health woe for the ageing star. “She would have died in a very short time because the infection was moving,” her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt told AFP shortly after his wife came round from surgery.
“She’s doing fine. She’s in the recovery room, She opened her eyes (and) looked at me, and there was a little smile. She’s OK,” he added. The flamboyant star — who was read the last rites during a health scare last year — has been in hospital since just after New Year due to an infection, and had been treated with antibiotics.
But doctors decided they had no alternative but to remove her leg, as the infection had entered the bone.

Owen Wilson, girlfriend have a baby boy
Los Angeles: Hollywood star Owen Wilson and his girlfriend Jade Duell have become the proud parents of a baby boy, who was born on January 14 at the actor’s oceanfront home in Maui, Hawaii.
The mother and the baby are doing well but the couple is yet to reveal the name of the new born, Ace Showbiz reported.
“Owen has been doing a celebratory hula dance all afternoon! It’s a beautiful boy and everyone is incredibly happy!”.
The 42-year-old Wedding Crashers star has been dating the 28-year-old federal air marshal for over a year after meeting her on a flight.
Wilson managed to keep Duell’s pregnancy a secret until Monday.
“Owen has been doing research and learning as much as he can. He’s super into it and asks a lot of questions to make sure he knows what’s going on every step of the way,” a source said. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
