Zsa Zsa Gabor has surgery for blood clot
Hollywood legend Zsa Zsa Gabor underwent surgery to treat blood clotting on Friday and was resting comfortably after being rushed to a hospital earlier in the day following recent hip replacement surgery.
The Hungarian-born actress, who has been a fixture in Hollywood movies and on television for decades, was taken to the University of California Los Angeles medical centre.
“She is resting and will be in the hospital for a few days, her publicist John Blanchette said.
Gabor, who has steadfastly refused to give her real age but is said to be well into her 90s, was partially paralysed in a 2002 car accident. She fell out of bed on July 17, broke her hip and underwent surgery.
