Yoko: Lennon would have loved Gaga

He was the Beatle who became a global peace icon but John Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono says that the singer-songwriter would have been a fan of Lady Gaga if he were still alive.
Gaga had performed with the Japan-born artiste to celebrate the Imagine hitmaker’s 70th birthday in October, but the 24-year-old’s transparent catsuit had raised eyebrows.
“Lady Gaga has a very pretty bottom. She performed with me on stage wearing a see-through lace catsuit and people thought it was an insult because you could see her bottom. I’m the lady who did an exhibition of bottoms. How could hers offend me?,” Ono, 77, told the Daily Mail.
“I think she’s wonderful. John would have loved her, because she’s an artist, she’s fearless and she pushes every limit, which we both always adored. She has played on John’s white piano and I think that’s wonderful,” said Ono.

Zac Efron shaves head for charity
London: Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron has embraced the Christmas festive spirit by donating money to a children’s charity after the cast and crew of his upcoming movie agreed to shave their heads for money.
The High School Musical star has been filming The Lucky One in New Orleans in Louisiana for 10 weeks and has sported a buzzcut hairstyle for his role as a Marine, Contactmusic reported.
The 23-year-old actor on his part has convinced the workers on the film sets to sport the same look and vowed to hand over the cash to local charity Kingsley House. About 30 crew had their locks shaved off with participants, who donated their hair to Locks of Love, an Organization which makes wigs for sick children. “He likes doing things for charity — two Make-A-Wish kids came... To the set while he was there — and he felt like he wanted to do something for a New Orleans charity since he had such a nice time shooting there,” Efron’s publicist said. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
