William to wed Kate in July 2011?
BRITAIN’S PRINCE William, who is second in line to the throne, is facing pressure to announce his engagement to long-time girlfriend Kate Middleton.
The speculation about a summer wedding in 2011 has reached pitch fever and the bookmakers have stopped taking bets on one happening in 2011.
Ladbrokes has already suspended betting on a 2011 wedding and William Hill is only offering bets on which month will the royal wedding be in 2011.
At present, July seems to be a sure winner with 4/6 odds.
In September, there was speculation that William would marry Kate in 2012, the year of London Olympics and Queen Elizabeth II’s diamond jubilee.

Art destroyed by the Nazis found in Berlin
Berlin: Artwork deemed “degenerate” by the Nazis and believed to have been destroyed has been unearthed during construction near Berlin’s city hall and is going on display. The Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation says the works will go on display at Berlin’s New Museum starting on Tuesday. Details are being released at a news conference on Monday.
Berlin newspaper Der Tagesspiegel reports construction workers found the pieces, including several bronze statues of female figures and a case of other works, while digging four weeks ago. The Nazi regime sold or destroyed thousands of artworks done by Jews or that they otherwise believed contained “deviant” sexual elements, anti-nationalistic themes or challenged the Nazi ideology. —AP
