Third Sherlock Holmes to be set in Hollywood
British director Guy Ritchie is making a third Sherlock Holmes movie but this time it will be based in Hollywood. The first two blockbusters — Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes 2: A Game of Shadows — have been set in London and incorporated some of the capital’s most famous landmarks in its screeplay, reported Sun online.
The film will see Hollywood star Robert Downey Jr in the lead role, similar to the previous instalments.
“Guy has loved making the movies and he gets on really well with all the cast. But Robert has had to spend large parts of the year in the UK filming so will probably welcome the move back home. He loves the UK, and London in particular but having home comforts close by is such a big bonus,” a source said. — PTI
