Wedding to be aired live on YouTube
With interests mounting worldwide, the British royal wedding will be streamed live on the internet for the first time through Youtube, the Palace officials announced.
The four-hour long Internet coverage will include the wedding ceremony at Westminster Abbey, the procession to the Buckingham Palace and the traditional appearance of the newlyweds on the Palace balcony for an expected first public kiss.
“The Royal couple want the wedding to be as accessible to as many people as possible and that is why they are communicating this way,” St. James Palace spokesman said. Officials said this will be the first time Youtube will run a live blog alongside a live stream of the wedding.
