Two and a Half Men cancelled
The producers of hit TV series Two and a Half Men cancelled the show for the season on Thursday after a new outburst by troubled actor Charlie Sheen — who promptly launched another tirade.
CBS and Warner Brothers made the announcement after Sheen, who was briefly hospitalised in January following his latest reported booze and drugs-fuelled partying mishap, denounced the show’s co-creator Chuck Lorre.
“Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Tele-vision have decided to discontinue production of Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season,” they said in a statement.
Sheen has become nonstop tabloid fodder.
