Swat team raids Brad Pitt’s film set
A Swat team was called to the set of actor Brad Pitt’s movie World War Z where they seized 85 weapons — including AK-47s and sniper rifles — which all contained live ammunition. The special weapons and tactics unit was called to a
warehouse in Budapest, holding props for the horror apocalypse movie, starring the 47-year-old actor where they discovered loaded weapons, including AK-47s and sniper rifles.
A police spokesperson said that the collection of assault rifles were a “disaster waiting to happen” and claimed an accident could easily have occurred with the loaded weapons. This is not the only near disaster averted on set, Pitt saved an extra from being trampled during a battle scene for the film in Glasgow, Scotland with 700 extras when she fell to the ground. — PTI
