SRK, Shirish Kunder patch up

Actor Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder have finally called truce, and for this they have Farah Khan’s brother Sajid Khan to thank. After the infamous brawl between the duo, everyone in the industry had their own version to narrate. That’s when a worried Sajid decided to play peacemaker.
“Yes Farah and Shirish have patched up with Shah Rukh,” Sajid confirmed.
The director, who read the disturbing news about the fight between his brother-in-law and SRK decided to take charge when he realised that things were being blown out of proportion. “I called Gauri and asked her if we could come over and she welcomed me, Farah, Shirish and Sajid Nadiadwala with great warmth. We have been friends for 20 years and to see that strong bond crumble disturbed me to no end,” Sajid said.
The meeting took place at Mannat between 4.30 and 6 pm. “There was no discomfort. Shah Rukh met Farah and Shirish with love and they reciprocated in a similar way. We had two rounds of coffee and food over a healthy conversation. I’ve always felt that you can hate people you love immensely,” said Sajid.
Sajid also claimed that his sister and the superstar have buried the hatchet and were planning to start afresh.
Earlier during the day, SRK shunned the reports of the fracas between Kunder and him on Twitter. He tweeted saying, “I feel I’m the source and the author of Shakespearean farce. Without the poetry or the prose of force.”

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
