Slipknot bassist Gray found dead
Paul Gray, the bassist of the controversial heavy metal band Slipknot, was found dead in a hotel room in Iowa.
A hotel employee found 38-year-old Gray in a room at the Town Plaza Hotel in Urbandale, a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa, on Monday, reported Daily Mail online.
The police said foul play was not suspected and a post-mortem examination will be carried out on Tuesday.
Slipknot’s self-titled debut in 1999 sold more than a million copies.

Rare Holmes’ debut case copy on sale
London: In an auction of one of the rarest books of modern times, an inscribed copy of A Study in Scarlet that saw the debut of the legendary Sherlock Holmes will go under the hammer here in July.
This book of Arthur Conan Doyle, published in 1887 and written in under three weeks, gave birth to Holmes and explains how he and Dr Watson came to be together and set in motion their highly successful career. The novel will be offered as part of an English Literature, History, Children’s Books and Illustrations sale at Sotheby’s on July 15 and is estimated to fetch £250,000- 400,000.
The work to be offered is one of only two inscribed copies known to be in existence. —PTI
