Ricky would like to have a daughter

Pop superstar Ricky Martin, who is already the father of twin boys, has said that he would like to have a daughter now.
Martin, 39, is the father of Matteo and Valentino, who were born in 2008 to a surrogate mother, but has now expressed the desire to have a baby girl, reported Contactmusic.
“As I have the two little boys, now I want a daddy’s girl,” the Puerto Rican singer said.
The Un Dos Tres hitmaker was in Buenos Aires to promote his latest album, Musica+Alma+Sexo, but Argentina buzzed with rumours that a wedding would be part of his visit to the first Latin American country which has allowed same-sex marriage.
Those expectations were dashed when Martin arrived in Buenos Aires without his partner, Carlos Gonzalez. He said marriage is not part of his plans at the moment. Martin also filmed part of a music video on the streets of Buenos Aires and autographed CDs for fans.

‘Hollywood yet to fathom Asian cinema demand’
Singapore: Tom Hanks, who has entertained global audiences with films right from Philadelphia to Da Vinci Code, says Hollywood can neither understand cinematic demands in Asia nor change to reflect it. Talking about growing Asian film markets just before the premiere of his film Larry Crowne at ScreenSingapore, a film business event held June 5-12, the 54-year-old actor said the success or failure of Hollywood films in Asia cannot be predicted.
“Hollywood is not going to change. Whether Asian societies will relate to a film, we idiots in Hollywood can’t say. It could do horribly at home and fabulously here or vice versa,” Hanks said.
Hanks has directed his second feature Larry Crowne, beside producing, co-writing and acting in the lead alongside Julia Roberts. The film is a romantic comedy drama about a man who gets fired from his job, goes back to college and falls in love with his teacher. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
