Price faces 2 yrs for rash driving

British model Katie Price is facing up to two years in jail over allegations she hit a photographer with her car after leaving a theatre in Sussex in October.
The 32-year-old glamour model was photographed sitting in the front seat with husband Alex Reid and talking on her mobile phone as she drove away from the theatre.
And now, after studying photographs of the alleged incident, the police has served the 35-year-old with a legal notice asking her to confirm whether or not she was driving at the time of the accident, reported the Daily Star online.
The notice is the first stage of a possible dangerous driving prosecution, an offence which carries a maximum two-year jail sentence, a minimum one-year driving ban and an unlimited fine.
Earlier in 2010, the mother-of-three was found guilty of not being in proper control of her seven-ton, bright pink horse box, after veering into another lane on a busy road. She was fined $2,000 at Mid Sussex magistrates’ court. She already had seven points on her licence but had three more added to it. A further three would result in a ban.
