Pregnant Keys falls on stage

Pregnant R&B star Alicia Keys gave fans a scare during her performance at the Essence Music Festival when she fell on her backside while on stage.
The Empire State of Mind hitmaker was one of the headliners at the annual three-day event in New Orleans on Saturday, sharing the bill with superstars such as Janet Jackson and Mary J. Blige, but she had concert-goers fearing for her and her unborn baby’s safety when she tumbled backwards and fell while singing Love Is Blind. The fall prompted gasps from the crowd but Keys refused to let the mishap disrupt her show, climbing back to her feet and taking her place at the piano to continue the song. A source close to the star insists mother and baby were unharmed in the incident.

Patel not to work with Pinto again
Washington: Actor Dev Patel has no plans to work with his Slumdog Millionaire co-star Freida Pinto in the future.
The young British star rose to fame in director Danny Boyle’s Oscar-winning film and found love with his movie girlfriend Freida Pinto after shooting on the 2008 picture wrapped.
However, Dev Patel ruled out working with Freida Pinto again because it would be “too awkward” now their onscreen love has turned into a real-life romance.
“We laugh too much around each other now. It would be too awkward,” Contactmusic quoted Patel as saying. —ANI
