Pitt, Jolie to wed on cruise ship?

Hollywood star couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly planning to tie the knot aboard the Hebridean Princess cruise, which has been chartered by the Queen.
The couple were keen to marry at their French estate Chateau Miraval later this summer, but have changed their minds thanks to their son Maddox, 11. They are now looking to get married on the cruise ship, which sails across the Scottish Isles, reported Sun online. “It was Maddox who came up with the idea of the ship. He came across it after looking back at photos of the Carnell Estate in Ayrshire, where they stayed and all loved,” a source said.

Wonder won’t perform in Florida in protest
Rhythm and blues singer Stevie Wonder said he will not perform in Florida until the state discards a “stand your ground” law that played a prominent role in the defense of neighbourhood watchman George Zimmerman who was acquitted in a racially charged murder trial. The singer made his comments at a concert on Sunday in Quebec City, Canada, according to a video posted on YouTube. “For the gift that God has given me, and for whatever I mean, I decided today that until the ‘stand your ground’ law is abolished in Florida, I will never perform there again,” Wonder said. — Reuters

Playing Nelson Mandela is special: Idris Elba
Actor Idris Elba says landing the role of Nelson Mandela in the biopic Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom meant a lot to him.
The actor says he was over the moon when he was chosen to represent the anti-apartheid icon because it was such a big opportunity to educate people on a legend, reported Contact-music. “It meant so much to me, it’s such a massive opportunity to be part of a true legend’s life, and more importantly, the film re-educates people on this legend,” Elba said. “I never met Mandela, so our interpretation of him was without his personal influence.” — PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
