Philip gives Kate tips on exercise

It seems that the British Queen’s husband Prince Philip — who fell out with daughters-in-law late Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson — wants to be sure that Prince William and his wife is settling in to royal life.
The 90-year-old Duke of Edinburgh regularly calls up 29-year-old Kate Middleton and gives her exercise tips — he has also offered her and Prince William advice on updating kitchen of their new flat in Kensington Palace, the Sun reported.
“Kate is really touched. It’s a sign that senior royals are keen to make sure new members fit in. Prince Philip wanted to make sure the pressures weren’t getting to her. He’s even been sharing tips about his exercise routine with Kate. He is 90 but still tries to keep fit. And he is helping to redesign their kitchen using natural woods and Welsh slate.”
“When he went round to visit he got out a pen and started sketching ideas. His designs are very practical, much more practical than the sometimes fanciful ideas of top designers. His ideas have been well received by William and Kate,” a source was quoted as saying.
The source said that having Philip’s approval is vital.
“He is the longest ever serving British royal consort, a role for which Kate is being groomed. He is head of the family, and Kate’s done well to win his favour,” the source added.

Paris loses 2 cell phones on a flight
Washington: Paris Hilton was recently left fuming, when she lost two cell phones during a flight to the Philippines. The socialite travelled to Manila airport from Dubai on Sunday to promote a new hotel resort in the region, but on arrival she was unable to find the phones in her bag.
Television footage reportedly showed Paris getting upset as she realised the items were missing, while airport staff surrounded her, reports Contactmusic. Authorities are now investigating the incident. It’s not the first phone fiasco for Hilton — in 2005 hackers gained access to her cell and posted her friends’ private telephone numbers on the Internet. —ANI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
