Gibson ends legal battle with ex-beau
London: Hollywood star Mel Gibson has decided to move on and has ended a legal battle with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
The 55-year-old star’s career and image took a dip after Grigorieva accused him of physically assaulting and hurling abuses on her by releasing a taped conversation, reported Contactmusic.
Gibson, who was dropped from Hangover movie while he was locked in a legal battle with his ex-lover, says he decided to end the fight for his family and children.
“I was allowed to end the case and still maintain my innocence. It’s called a West plea and it’s not something that prosecutors normally allow. But in my case, the prosecutors and the judge agreed that it was the right thing to do.
