Norah Jones to sing at Oscars

Grammy-award winner Norah Jones, the daughter of late sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar, will perform Everybody Needs a Best Friend from Ted at the Oscar awards in February.

The song with music by Walter Murphy and lyrics by Seth MacFarlane, is nominated for an Original Song Oscar. Jones, 33, will be performing on an Oscar show for the first time.
