Middletons will spend £100,000

With their daughter set to marry Prince William, parents of Kate Middleton will be spending about £100,000 to pay for expenses like bridal gowns and hotel suites bills.
According to a report in the Sunday Times, Carole and Michael Middleton, mother and father of Kate will also contribute to the cost of an evening reception and disco hosted by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace, apart from paying bills for hotel suites, bridal gowns, bridemaids dresses, the maid of honour’s outfit and the honeymoon.
Kate’s parents will pay for several suites at the Goring hotel in Belgravia including £4,000 a night two-bedroom, five-room suite for Kate and her sister Pippa, the maid of honour. One-room Belgravia suites costing £1,140 each including Vat will be taken for Carole and Michael, their son James, Kate’s brother, plus a number of other close relatives and friends. The Goring is not far from Buckingham Palace. The hotel bill alone is expected to touch £20,000, including dinner, breakfast and drinks.
Other expenses include £30,000 for Kate’s bridal gowns and £20,000 for Pippa’s dress. Prince Ch-arles will cover most of the other costs and the Queen will host the lunchtime reception. The cost of Prince Charles’ wedding to Lady Diana in 1981 was estimated to have been £30 million, but most of the security costs were picked up by the taxpayer.

Supermodel Deyn plans to visit India
London: Her wild lifestyle and love life, including a romance with Hollywood heartthrob James Franco, grabbed headlines and now supermodel Agyness Deyn is preparing for a trip to India in a bid to “find herself”.
The 28-year-old recently returned to her native UK from New York where she tried her hand at acting, and is now set for a backpacking voyage of self-discovery, reported Daily Mail online. “Agyness has been sofa-hopping in London while she prepares to head to India. She’s only 28 and she still needs to find out what she wants to do in life. The acting world wasn’t for her and she thinks there’s more to life than modelling,” said a source close to the catwalk beauty.
Deyn is hoping that the trip will give her a new perspective in life. “She’s hoping it will be a life-changing experience that will help her to finally find her calling,” said the source.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
