Marriage is not important to me: Kournikova

Tennis player Anna Kournikova, who has been dating Latin singer Enrique Iglesias for a decade, doesn't feel the need to get married.

The 30-year-old says she has no immediate plans to wed Iglesias, 36, and is happy with the way her relationship is going, reported Los Angeles.

"Marriage isn't important to me. I'm in a happy relationship — that's all that matters. I believe in commitment. I believe in being open and trusting each other and respecting each other completely," Kournikova said.

Even if she never makes it down the aisle, Kournikova says she won't give up her dream of becoming a mother.

"I absolutely want to have children, whether I have my own or adopt. I love taking care of people," she added.
