Madge new clothing line launched

Pop diva Madonna and her 13-year-old daughter Lourdes have launched their new clothing line “Material Girl” for teenagers. The look of the range, which consists of clothes, footwear, handbags and accessories, has been put together by the mother-daughter duo and was officially launched at Macys in New York on Tuesday.
The promotional pictures show Taylor Momsen, the 17-year-old star of Gossip Girl, the US school drama, tangled up in chains with bleached hair and heavy make-up. Hundreds of people queued to get the first look and to snatch up a few free give-aways, the Telegraph reported.

Melbourne: Pop diva Lady Gaga has scored as many as 13 nominations at the MTV’s 2010 Video Music Awards, the most ever for an artiste in a single year. Some of the categories in which the 24-year-old singer is eligible to snag a Moonman trophy are best pop video, best dance music video, best female video, best choreography, and video of the year.
“I’m so honoured for all the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe, to have more VMA nominations in a single year than any artiste in MTV history,” news.com.au quoted the singer as saying in a statement. —ANI
